Who is your ideal client/project?

Small non-profit or business, sole proprietor (artist, family practitioner, etc.). Ideally already has a existing site that needs a relaunch to add functionality or freshen up the UX -- (having existing content makes it easier). Setting up the website so the client can add content and maintain it 95% of the time is my goal.

Do you charge by project or hour? What is your rate or typical project fee?

Still only charge $75/hr.

Do you offer services beyond website builds?

Most of my clients do not have and IT or even a Marketing department, so I throw in my marketing expertise as a bonus. as a bonus. I also co-lead 3 weekly WordPress Support Group Meetups in the East Bay (all on Zoom currently)

What's your SEO level? Page Speed level?

I offer basic white hat SEO advice and performance optimization. I've found the biggest bang for the buck for performance (and security) is to migrate to a better hosting platform.

Tell me anything else I should know before I refer a client to you and share 3 links to recent projects you've done.

Currently I'm still using Beaver Builder over a Genesis framework with Metabox.io for custom fields and post types for everything except very simple projects (I've been using these tools for the last 3+ years and can build a custom site very quickly and hence inexpensively for the client). I expect to be moving away from BB and use Gutenberg Full Site Editing for almost everything in the future. I have the clients create Post content in Blocks, but use BB for the layout.
