My ideal client understands the value of having a professional online marketer for website and potentially other services. And most importantly they have a budget to invest in their online presence. That can be a new WordPress site, a custom static site, or an SEO update on an existing site. Since I support start-ups and small to medium businesses, I customize the plan for their budget. My latest release is https://svos.org which has some custom registration and mapping code along with good Core Web Vitals in spite of all the images.

Do you charge by project or hour? What is your rate or typical project fee?

Varies by project. My rates are very competitive and I caution that this answer varies greatly in this market.

Do you offer services beyond website builds?

Yes, SEO reviews, press releases, ads. See website for more info.

Advanced and Advanced. I offer an SEO review package for the DIYer's on Wix, etc.

I offer website development, and SEO services and have a network of specialists for branding, SMM, and general marketing. I build custom sites using Bootstrap, and WordPress sites using Genesis Framework. I do not support page builders like Beaver because I don't believe they can achieve the best speeds. I teach an intro class in JavaScript and PHP and am the Program Chair for the Web Development Specialization at UCSC Extension.
